Washington’s coastline is packed with tons of beautiful surprises and as a wedding photographer, it’s so much fun exploring them! Whether is elopements in Mt Rainier, Northern Cascades, or Olympic National Parks, or portrait sessions on the many islands, I’m spoiled for choices.
It is always a special treat when I get the privilege to photograph people and friends that I’ve known for awhile. Doubly so, when they are as warm and full of life and adventure as these two.
When we moved to Maine, we didn’t know anyone. And Sabrina and Jason were one of our first shoots lined up on the coast. Little did we know that we’d fall in love with them. They’re funny, brilliant, lovely humans who truly embody unconditional love.
Brittney took so much care in surprising Wendy and managed to pull it off so seamlessly! Plus Lake Louise at sunrise in late September was virtually empty, which was so cool because you so rarely get an iconic spot all to yourself!
This was a truly lovely morning. Brede and Keri came out to Washington to see explore and see family. At least that’s what Keri thought was the plan.
Dara and Andy are part dad, part hippy, and totally amazing. They’re kind, brilliant, funny, and adventurous. They’re the people we never get sick of even though we didn’t meet until a few months before this shoot.
These two. This night. Nothing is more romantic than Brooklyn on a Thursday night. Especially with two people who love each other so well.
Nicol and Joe woke up early and got on the trail in Acadia National Park long before the sun was out. The couple of nine years set out on the hike up Cadillac Mountain in the dark with the goal of catching the sunrise at the summit.
