Washington’s coastline is packed with tons of beautiful surprises and as a wedding photographer, it’s so much fun exploring them! Whether is elopements in Mt Rainier, Northern Cascades, or Olympic National Parks, or portrait sessions on the many islands, I’m spoiled for choices.
Coming from North Dakota, I laugh sometimes thinking about how I spent years doing my best to make the same couple Fargo parks look beautiful. It’s such a breath of fresh air, literally, to be able to photograph in such stunning locations like Washington now.
Lilly and Colin picked Deception Pass State Park for their engagement session and came prepared with hiking boots and towels. It’s a relatively small park but it’s jam packed with little spots worth exploring. We ended up at Rosario Beach and wandered along the epic cliffs for awhile before getting into the water. Let it be known that I am firmly against bullying, except when it comes to Lilly convincing Colin to strip down and enjoy the waves. So much fun! Can’t wait for their wedding.
